Mubasher: The Qatar stock exchange (QSE) ended Sunday’s trading session in the red, dragged down by the fall of five sectors, coinciding with a drop in trading activities.
The general index declined 0.56%, or 55.4 points, to 9,847 points.
The QSE’s liquidity decreased 62% to QAR 68 million on Sunday from QAR 178 million on Thursday, while market capitalisation levelled down to QAR 550.661 billion from QAR 553.667 billion.
The telecommunications sector topped the bourse’s decliners falling 1.05%, followed by the banking sector with 0.68%.
Islamic Holding Group’s stock headed the market’s losers falling 2.58%.
