Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index grew 102.94 points, or 0.99%, to 10,451.13 points in a week.
Market capitalisation rose to QAR 588.11 billion ($162.73 billion) over the week from QAR 579.35 billion ($159.12 billion) a week earlier.
The banking, transport, and insurance sectors went up 4.58%, 3.54%, and 0.89%, respectively.
Meanwhile, both the industrial and real estate sectors declined by 3.45% and 3.29%, respectively.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 52.04 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit QAR 1.24 billion.
