Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index inched up by about 0.07% or around seven points, reaching the level of 10,835.04 points in early trade.
However, QE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped by about 0.12% to 4,072 points, while the All Shares Index moved 0.02% up to 2,886 points.
Turnover stood at QAR 14.82 million with a trading volume of 446,450 shares after 363 transactions were carried out.
The banking sector increased 0.18% to become the best performer as opposed to the services sector which went down 1.35%, making it the worst player.
Islamic Holding was the top performing stock with a rise of 2.58%, while Al Meera Consumer Goods share was the lowest with a drop of 2.98%.
The main index closed Wednesday at a rise of 0.23% or 25 points to the level of 10,827.66 points.
