Doha - Mubasher: The profits of 11 Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) licensed brokerage firms increased by 41% in July 2016, with traded value totalling QAR 10.3 billion, compared to QAR 7.3 billion in 2016.
The number of total transactions also grew 2.2%, and reached 116,350 transactions compared to 113,850 transactions in June.
The Group Securities Company dominated 41.54% of total transactions with 48,320 transactions, compared to 41,070 transactions in June 2016.
QNB registered the highest turnover at QAR 3.3 billion, around 32.2% of total July’s trade.
