Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell at Sunday’s close by 0.16% or 15.98 points to the level of 9,923.6 points.
Trading volume increased to 19.3 million shares from 6.92 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also rose to QAR 330.27 million from QAR 190.91 million.
The insurance sector fell 1.07% as Qatar Insurance shrank 1.6%, the transportation sector declined 0.71% as Gulf Warehousing decreased 1.19%.
The banking sector retreated 0.22% due to a fall of 3.13% in Ahli Bank.
The industries sector dropped 0.12%, dragged by a decrease of 0.64% in Mesaieed and 0.43% in Gulf International.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector rose 5.92% as Ezdan topped gainers after adding 9.97%.
The consumer goods and telecom sectors also levelled up 0.11% and 0.01%.
