Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading in the red.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index decreased 0.19% to 9,441.29 points, falling 18.32 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 34.41 million after 1.84 million shares traded through 622 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the bourse's losers, falling 0.91% after Barwa Real Estate and Ezdan Holding Group declined 1.3% and 1.29%, respectively.
Similarly, the industrial sector went down 0.39% on the back of Qatari Investors’ 5.8% drop.
Meanwhile, the transportation sector levelled up 0.3% as Qatar Gas Transport added 0.55%.
Gulf International Services, which went up 5%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 583,500 shares, generating QAR 11.93 million.
