Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) fell at Wednesday’s open by 0.47% or 45.69 points to the level of 9,695.11 points.
Trading volume reached 265.48 million shares exchanged at QAR 10.06 million through 209 transactions.
By 10:00am Doha time, QNB declined 0.79%, Ezdan shrank 0.74% and Industries Qatar slid 0.19%.
The banking sector lost 0.66%, pressured by a 2.05% decrease in Dlala Holding, the worst performing stock, while Qatar First Bank led gainers by adding 0.31%.
The real estate, industrial and telecom sectors also fell by 0.57%, 0.36% and 0.06% respectively.
Meanwhile, the transportation sector rose alone by 0.04%.
