Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading session in negative territory, pressured by the sectors’ massive drop .
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the main index fell 122.34 points, or 1.17 %, to 10,245.23 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 26.03 million after 1.54 million shares were traded through 1,190 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the decliners falling 2.29% as Ezdan Holding Group went down 2.99%, followed by the banking sector with 1.52% after Qatar Oman Investment dipped 8.28%.
Similarly, the industrial sector plunged 1.09% as QAMCO retreated 4.59%.
QAMCO’s stock led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 1.66 million shares, generating QAR 15.79 million in liquidity.
