Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday’s trading with a fall of 1.24% or 123.5 points to the level of 9,842.85 points.
Trading volume increased 96.7% to 4.78 million shares from 2.43 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also rose 62.8% to QAR 136.22 million from 83.67 million.
The real estate sector was the worst performer after dropping 2.1%, dragged by Ezdan Holding which declined by 2.19%.
The consumer goods and services, industrial, telecom and banking sectors also retreated by 1.43%, 1.34%, 1.14% and 1.13% respectively.
Gulf International Services was the most active stock with a trading volume of 714,350 shares exchanged at QAR 26.13 million.
