Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index closed Sunday’s trading at the level of 10,394.74 points after falling by 0.32% or 33.17 points.
Trading volume declined to 5 million shares from 7 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also retreated to QAR 125.28 million from QAR 259.55 million.
The banking sector fell 0.93% due to a 1.8% decrease in QNB, the worst performing stock.
The real estate sector dropped 0.33% as Ezdan shrank 0.7%.
On the flipside, the telecom sector advanced 0.33% as Ooredoo rose 0.39%, and the transportation sector leapt 0.22% due to an increase of 1.18% in Milaha.
Vodafone Qatar made the highest activity with a volume of 1.42 million shares, while Barwa Real Estate made the highest turnover of QAR 13.36 million.
