Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session in red territory, pressured by the drop of the three sectors.
By 09:40 am Qatar time, the main index fell 0.42 %, or 44.71 points, to 10,623.43 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 16.59 million after 832,350 shares were traded through 451 transactions.
The industrial sector topped losers with 1.17% as Industries Qatar plunged 1.37%, while the banking sector went down 0.34% on the back of Doha Bank’s 7.69% drop.
Meanwhile, the goods and services sector headed gainers with 0.03% as Qatar Fuel (Woqod) rose 1%.
Doha Bank’s stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 442,480 shares, generating QAR 8.89 million in liquidity.
