QSE loses 53 points in early trade

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell in Wednesday’s early trading by 0.4% or 53.04 points to the level of 10,146.76 points.

Al Rayan Islamic Index also declined 0.04% to 3,829.45 points, and the All Share Index slid 0.37% to 2,761.77 points.

Turnover reached QAR 116 million ($31.86 million) as 5.25 million shares were exchanged through 1,690 trades.

Barwa Real Estate was the worst performing share with a fall of 5.34%, while Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution topped gainers after adding 10%.

Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development was the most active in terms of volume with 1.61 million traded shares, while Masraf Al Rayan led in  value with liquidity of QAR 32 million ($8.78 million).

The bourse’s main index declined yesterday 1.14% to 10,199.91 points.
