Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended the week’s trading with a fall of 2.68% or 298.07 points to the level of 10,836.74 points.
Turnover increased 110.3% to QAR 1.7 billion from QAR 808.47 million reached last week, trading volume also rose 85% to 36.74 million from 19.86 million.
The market capitalisation declined 2.48% or QAR 14.75 billion to QAR 580.73 billion, compared to QAR 595.48 billion last week.
The market’s sectors dropped collectively, topped by the real estate, insurance and banking sectors as they fell by 4.5%, 3.3% and 2.4% respectively.
Out of 44 shares exchanged this week, two stocks rose and 42 others declined.
QNB made the highest liquidity of QAR 338.66 million, while Masraf Al Rayan was the largest-traded sock with a volume of 3.77 million shares
