Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index lost 155.3 points, or 1.55%, to 9,871.87 points in a week.
Market capitalisation declined by 1.62% to QAR 549.66 billion ($152.86 billion) over the week from QAR 558.73 billion ($155.38 billion) a week earlier.
The real estate, insurance, telecom, banking, and transport sectors shed 4.08%, 3.57%, 3.46%, 3.37%, and 3.17%, respectively.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 88.58 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit QAR 1.92 billion.
