Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) main index went down by 1.87% or 185.97 pts on a weekly basis to close at 9,774.98 points, up from 9,960.95 points at the end of the previous week.
The market capitalization shed 1.4% on a weekly basis reaching QAR 528.33 billion, compared with QAR 538.81 billion at the end of the preceding week.
The market liquidity declined 30.6% on a weekly basis to QAR 1.25 billion against QAR 1.8 billion a week earlier.
Moreover, the market trading volumes slide 11.3% on a weekly basis to 41.48 million shares.
At the sectorial level, the real estate sector, telecom sector, insurance sector and transportation sector declined by 4.4%, 3.85%, 2.76% and 0.74% respectively.
