QSE opens 0.11% higher on blue chips

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose in Monday’s early session by 0.11% or 10.37 points to the level of 9,791.17 points.

By 10:10am Doha time, QNB leapt 0.2%, Ezdan Holding advanced 0.33% and Industries Qatar grew 0.1%; the three stocks comprise 40% of the index's total weigh.

Trading volume reached 475,820 shares exchanged at QAR 24.78 million through 317 transactions.

The industrial and real estate sectors leapt by 0.31% and 0.2% respectively.

On the flipside, the consumer goods and services sector declined 0.38%, transportation (-0.26%), telecom (-0.16%), insurance (-0.16%) and banking (-0.11%).
