Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Monday’s session falling by 0.20% or 21.13 points to the level of 10,412.82 points.
Trading volume reached 320,900 shares exchanged by 10:00am Doha time through 326 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 12 million.
Industries Qatar declined 1.6%, Commercial Bank of Qatar slid 0.8%, Qatar Electricity and Water shrank 0.43% and Ooredoo fell 0.41%.
The telecom sector dropped 0.49% as Vodafone Qatar was 0.85% down, the banking sector shrank 0.8% due to a 0.19% decrease in QIB.
The real estate sector declined 0.07% as Mazaya Qatar retreated 0.9%.
On the other hand, the insurance sector rose 0.04%, backed by a 1.3% rise in Qatar Islamic Insurance.
