Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined at Thursday’s open by 0.33% or 39.07 points to the level of 10,039.66 points.
Trading volume reached 1.26 million exchanged at QAR 22.45 million through 441 transactions.
The industrial sector was the worst performer after falling by 0.87% due to a 3.77% decline in Gulf International and 2.22% in Mesaieed Petrochemical.
The insurance sector shrank 0.49% as Qatar Insurance slid 0.69%, the telecom sector dropped 0.42% as Ooredoo retreated 0.53% and the banking sector fell 0.25%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector advanced 0.02% as United Development rose 0.43%.
