Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell in Wednesday’s early trading by 0.79% or 81.64 points to the level of 10,405.96 points.
By 10:00am Doha time, trading volume reached 1.86 million shares exchanged at QAR 63.42 million through 591 transactions.
The index was dragged by the fall in some blue chips as Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 5.11%, Industries Qatar declined 1.4%, Doha Bank shrank 1% and Qatar Electricity and Water decreased 0.7%.
The bourse’s fell collectively in early trading, topped by the consumer goods and services sector with a 1.4% fall, then the industrial, banking and real estate sectors with a fall of 1%, 0.6% and 0.4% respectively.
