QSE opens 101 pts lower; all indices down

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.97% or 101.43 points in Wednesday’s early trading, reaching the level of 10,317.87 points.

Also, Al Rayan Islamic Index slid 0.59% to 3,866 points, and the All Share Index slipped 0.67% to 2,796.1 points.

Turnover came to QAR 2 million ($549,224) as 1.99 million shares were exchanged through 1,090 transactions.

United Development was the worst performing share as it decreased 7.02%, while Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution grew 8.9%.

Gulf International was the most active with a trading volume of 610,730 shares and a turnover of more than QAR 23 million ($6.316 million).

The main gauge rose yesterday by 0.48% to the level of 10,418.23 points.
