QSE opens Monday in decline

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday in the red after its main index slumped 40 points, or 0.38%, to 10,564.34 points.

By 9:47 am Qatar time, the real estate sector led losers after dropping 0.73%.

The bourse saw trading of 387,800 shares exchanged through 278 transactions with a turnover of QAR 9.7 million.

Qatar Fuel’s (Woqod) stock was the worst performer after losing 1.39%, while Medicare Group’s stock topped gainers after adding 1.94%.

Masraf Al Rayan’s stock, which dipped 0.47%, generated the highest liquidity with QAR 2.14 million, while Qatar First Bank’s (QFB) stock, which remained stable at QAR 4.59, topped the bourse in terms of trading volume with 156,700 shares.
