Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading in the green.
By 10:08 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.42% to 8,996.96 points, adding 40 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 43.44 million after 1.64 million shares traded through 762 transactions.
The telecommunications sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 0.8% after Ooredoo’s increased 1.1%, while the banking sector levelled up 0.48% as Masraf Al Rayan rose 3.5%.
Meanwhile, the transportation sector and the real estate sector declined 1.86% and 1.2%, respectively.
Masraf Al Rayan spearheaded the QSE’s liquidity with QAR 20.1%, while Salam International topped the bourse in terms of trading volume with 300,500 shares.
