Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Monday’s trading session in the green territory.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index slightly rose 0.01% to 10,190.81 points.
The insurance sector led gainers and rose 0.5%, while the real estate sector headed decliners with 1.08%.
Widam Food topped gainers after adding 4%, while Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution led fallers and slid 6.12%.
The QSE’s turnover amounted to QAR 55,000 after 1.5 million shares were exchanged through 1,050 transactions.
Qatar International Islamic Bank’s stock, up 2.17%, led the QSE in terms of turnover with QAR 11.34 million, while Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding's stock, which plunged 0.86%, registered the highest trading volume with 309,750 shares.
