Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading in the red, pressured by the drop of four sectors .
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index decreased 0.18% to 9,394.36 points, falling 17.17 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 9 million after 462,080 shares traded through 256 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the bourse’s losers, falling 0.50% after Industries Qatar declined 1.01%.
Similarly, the banking sector inched down 0.04% as Qatar First Bank dropped 0.69%.
Meanwhile, the goods and services sector topped the market’s gainers, adding 0.93% after Qatar Fuel and Medicare Group grew 1.67% and 0.13%, respectively.
The real estate went up 0.13% as United Development and Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development rose 1.42% and 0.86%, respectively.
United Development led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 240,800 shares, generating QAR 4.1 million.
