QSE opens Sunday down

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session in red territory.

By 09:45 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 0.05% to 10,275.85 points, falling 5.11 points.

Turnover amounted to QAR 7.3 million after 287,500 shares were traded through 230 transactions.

The goods and services sector topped the QSE’s decliners falling 0.49%, followed by the transportation sector, which decreased by 0.45%.

On the other hand, the industrial sector headed the bourse’s risers adding 0.46%.

Barwa Real Estate Development’s stock, which levelled up 0.13%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 51,000 shares, generating QAR 1.94 million in liquidity.
