Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session with negative performance, pressured by the fall of three sectors.
By 09:50 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 0.12% to 10,707.80 points, losing 12.51 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 19.1 million after 1.2 million shares were traded through 616 transactions.
The banking sector topped losers with 0.13% on the back of Al Khalij Commercial Bank’s (KCBK) 0.87% drop.
On the other hand, the real estate sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 2.55% as Ezdan Holding Group rose 4.93%.
Masraf Al Rayan’s stock, which went down 0.22%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 5.02 million, while Vodafone Qatar's stock, which advanced 1.31%, posted the highest trading volume with 413,630 shares.
