Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.18% or 17.60 points to reach 9,559.88 points in Sunday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the industrials sector increased 0.39% as Qatari Investors Group went up 1.39%, whereas Qatar National Cement Company dropped 2.89%.
The consumer goods and services sector levelled up 0.17% after Qatari German for Medical Devices grew 2.10%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector inched down 0.09% as Gulf Warehousing and Qatar Navigation (Milaha) lost 0.99% and 0.29%, respectively.
The banks sector edged down 0.06% after Qatar First Bank (QFB) shed 0.76%.
Trading volume reached 873,060 shares through 444 transactions with a liquidity of QAR 22.86 million.
Gulf International Services’ stock, up 1%, was the most active in terms of traded volume with 436,000 shares exchanged, generating QAR 10.08 million.
