Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday with a negative performance after its main index fell 25.41 points, or 0.24%, to 9,738.28 points.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the QSE’s trading volume reached 1.39 million shares exchanged through 951 transactions at a turnover of QAR 25.07 million.
The banks and financial services sector led losers with 0.34% as Qatar Islamic Bank’s (QIB) stock decreased 1.57%.
On the other hand, the industrials sector topped gainers with 0.05% after Qatari Investors Group’s stock rose 5.77%.
United Development Company’s (UDC) stock, which upped 0.15%, led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 422,400 exchanged shares, while Qatar Fuel’s (Woqod) stock, which added 0.80%, generated the highest liquidity with QAR 5.6 million.
