Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) grew 0.14% or 12.14 points, reaching 8,941.62 points in Thursday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, Qatar National Bank (QNB), Masraf Al Rayan, and Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) gained 0.65%, 0.13%, and 0.11%, respectively.
The transportation sector levelled up 1.09% as Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) increased 1.82%, and the consumer goods and services sector went up 1.07% after Widam Food rose 3.4%.
The real estate sector grew 0.56% as Ezdan Holding Group gained 0.66%, and the insurance sector rose 0.43% after Qatar Islamic Insurance surged 6.65%.
The banks sector increased 0.34% as Qatar First Bank (QFB) levelled up 1.47%, while the telecommunications sector inched up 0.25% after Vodafone Qatar went up 2.12%.
Trading volume reached 540,970 shares with a liquidity of QAR 13.57 million.
