Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 1.73% or 160.13 points, reaching 9,440.51 points in Thursday’s early trades.
By 10:11 am Qatar time, the banks sector increased 2.5% as Qatar National Bank (QNB) and Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) went up 3.43% and 2.7%, respectively.
The industrials sector levelled up 1.22% after Qatari Investors Group gained 3.3%, followed by Industries Qatar with 1.52%, and Gulf International Services with 1.29%.
The real estate sector grew 0.54% as Barwa and Mazaya Qatar increased 1.48% and 1.2%, respectively.
On the other hand, Salam International Investment Ltd’s stock declined 1.72%.
Trading volume reached 1.64 million shares through 967 transactions, at a value of QAR 68.28 million.
Masraf Al Rayan’s stock led in terms of traded volume with 22,980 shares exchanged, while Vodafone Qatar’s stock was the most active in terms of trading value with a turnover of QAR 795,680.
