Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index shed 0.30% or 31.71 points to the level of 10,564.43 points at Thursday's opening session.
Five sectors opened in red topped by the real estate which fell 0.26%, on the back of Mazaya Qatar which went down 0.83%, by 9:00am Qatar time.
The banks sector also decreased 0.21%, pressured by a decrease of 0.74% in Masraf Al Rayan.
On the other hand, the consumer goods sector added 0.06%, backed by Al Salam International which rose 2.32%.
Turnover reached QAR 11.3 million, while traded volume recorded 366,720 shares, through 258 transactions.
United Development Co led the trading activity with a volume of 116,600 shares, while Masraf Al Rayan topped turnover with QAR 3.32 million.
