Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday’s trading session down, dragged by the drop of five sectors.
By 09:55 am Qatar time, the general index fell 13 points, or 0.14 %, to 9,314.53 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 34 million after 979,200 shares were traded through 670 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.7%, followed by the drop of the telecommunication sector by 0.6%.
On the other hand, the goods sector headed the bourse’s three gainers adding 0.7%.
Qatar Fuel’s stock led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 7.02 million, while Qatar Navigation’s stock, which retreated 0.61%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 277,000 shares.
