Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday's trading session in red territory, after the benchmark index dropped 4.4 points, or 0.05%, to 9,784.93 points.
By 9:50 am Qatar time, the bourse’s trading volume reached 346,500 shares exchanged through 210 transactions at a turnover of QAR 17 million.
The banking sector inched down 0.54%, while the transportation and industrials sector edged up 0.41%, and 0.87%, respectively.
Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding’s stock led losers with 2%, whereas Gulf Warehousing Company’s (GWCS) stock was the best performer with 3.24%.
Industries Qatar’s stock, which rose 1.04%, was the most active after 92,540 shares were exchanged, with a turnover of QAR 11.86 million.
