Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) decreased 0.21% or 19.71 points reaching 9,416.37 points in Tuesday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the real estate sector shed 0.48% as Barwa and Ezdan Holding Group lost 1.03% and 0.39%, respectively.
The banks sector went down 0.14% after Al Khlaij Commercial Bank levelled down 2.14%.
On the other hand, the insurance sector inched up 0.03% as Al Khaleej Takaful Group increased 5.24%, while the transportation sector edged up 0.05% after Gulf Warehousing rose 2.65%.
Trading volume reached 512,030 shares through 283 transactions, generated QAR 13.31 million.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock, despite dropping 0.58%, was the most active in terms of trading volume with 246,700 shares exchanged, while Gulf Warehousing led in terms of traded value with a turnover of QAR 4.8 million.
