Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday with a negative performance after its main index levelled down 5 points, or 0.05%, to 9,928.2 points by 9:50 am Qatar time.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 1.8 million shares, through 619 transactions, generating QAR 27.62 million in turnover.
The banks and financial services sector inched down 0.4%, whereas industrials edged up 0.6%.
Medicare Group’s stock led losers with 2.93%, whereas Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding’s stock rose 2.08%.
Mesaieed Petrochemical was the most active after 753,210 shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of QAR 12.51 million.
