Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) lost 62.8 points to 10,163.93 points by the opening on Tuesday.
By 9:53 am Doha time, the goods and consumer services segment led the decliners with 1.6%, while the real estate sector topped the gainers with 0.44%.
Ahli Bank was the top loser with a fall of 9.8%, while Qatar for Cinema headed the winners with 10%.
The QSE’s turnover amounted to QAR 52.44 million after 1.3 million shares were exchanged through 806 transactions.
Barwa Real Estate, which added 1.8%, was the most active stock on which 449,000 shares were exchanged at a value of QAR 18 million. This rise came in line with the company’s disclosure of its income statements for FY18.
