Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session in green territory.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index edged up 22 points, or 0.22%, to 9,996 points.
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers with 0.78%, while the goods sector dipped solely by 0.06%.
Union Development led the rising blue-chip stocks with 2.6%, whereas Islamic Holding headed losers with 2.3%.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 1.92 million shares exchanged through 890 transactions at a turnover of QAR 36.2 million.
Industries Qatar, up 0.39%, led stocks in terms of liquidity with a turnover of QAR 7.01 million, while Ezdan Holding, up 0.93%, topped the market in terms of trading volume with 357,160 shares.
