Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session with a negative performance after its benchmark plunged 42.67 points, or 0.42%, to 10,444.96 points.
By 10 am Qatar time, the QSE’s traded volume hit 5.39 million exchanged through 3,190 transactions with a turnover of QAR 78.59 million.
The industrials sector went down 1.29% as Investment Holding Group’s stock fell 4.35%, while Qatar Aluminums Manufacturing Company’s (QAMCO) stock increased 4.03%.
The consumer goods and services sector shed 0.52% after Qatari German for Medical Devices’ (QG Medical) stock declined 2.45%.
The banks and financial services inched down 0.11% as Islamic Holding Group’s (IHGS) stock went down 8.61%.
QAMCO’s stock topped the market in both trading volume and value after 5.2 million shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of QAR 68.1 million.
