Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index opened Monday in positive territory, as it rallied about 1.04% or around 100 points to 9,744.33 points.
QE Al Rayan Islamic Index also leapt about 1.04% to 3,567 points, and the All Shares Index increased 0.90% to 2,599 points.
Trading value reached about QAR 30.9 million through 479 trades on around 1.07 million shares.
QSE sectors moved higher collectively, led by the insurance sector with 1.57%, followed by the telecom with 1.20%.
Qatari Investors Group was the best performer in early trading with a growth of 2.65%, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding was the weakest with 3.56% lower.
QSE benchmark index closed Sunday at the level of 9,643.654 points after shrinking 3.71% or about 371.17 points.
