Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) increased in Sunday’s early session by 0.04% or 4.07 points to the level of 9.719 points.
Trading volume reached 451,800 shares exchanged at QAR 16.18 million through 294 transactions.
By 10:00am Doha time, the banking sector grew 0.24%, backed by a 1.62% rise in Doha Bank, the telecom sector advanced 0.04% as Vodafone Qatar leapt 0.22% and the real estate sector levelled up 0.02% as Barwa Real Estate ascended 0.17%.
On the other hand, the insurance sector declined 1.26% due to an 8.3% fall in Qatar General Insurance, worst performer, and the industrial sector shrank 0.22% as Mesaieed slid 0.4%.
