Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s trading on a positive note as its main index leapt by 0.14% or 16.8 points to the level of 10,936.47 points.
Trading volume reached 622,800 shares exchanged through 430 transactions by 9:45 AM Doha time, making a turnover of QAR 21.8 million.
The index was backed by the rise in Ooredoo, Masraf Al Rayan and Qatar Islamic Bank by 1.15%, 1.8% and 1.07% respectively.
Masraf Al Rayan topped the green list by adding 2.32%, while Al Khalij Commercial Bank led decliners after dropping by 5.21%.
Ezdan was the largest-traded stock with a trading volume of 167,700 shares, whereas Ooredoo made the highest liquidity of QAR 5.3 million.
