QSE opens lower on real estate stocks

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell in Sunday’s early trading by 0.15% or 14.8 points to the level of 9,760.18 points.

The real estate sector fell 0.44% as Ezdan dropped 0.67%, the industrial sector shrank 0.29% due to a 2.03% fall in National Cement and the transportation sector slid 0.27% as Nakilat decreased 0.22%.

On the other hand, the banking sector rose 0.20%, backed by an increase of 2.79% in Al Khaliji Bank and the consumer goods sector leapt 0.04% as Al Meera levelled up 2.41%. (Photo credit: Bourse's website)

By 09:10am Doha time, trading volume reached 305,400 shares exchanged through 278 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 6.59 million.
