Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index opened in negative zone in Monday’s early trade, amid a wave of declines hitting almost all sectors.
The main index edged down 0.60% or 53.73 points reaching the level of 8,927.88 points.
Similarly, Al Rayan Islamic Index fell 1.07% to 3,175 points, while All Shares Index drifted lower 0.67% to 2,372 points.
The market turnover, early today, reached QAR 31.7 million with 1.07 million changed hands through carrying out 615 transactions.
The transportation sector was the steepest as it lost 2.15%, followed by the transportation sector and the services sector as they inched down 1.02% and 0.08% respectively.
QSE main index closed Sunday in the green territory after rising 4.63% or 397.60 points to 8,981.61 points.
