Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell at Wednesday’s open by 0.12% or 13 points to the level of 10,586.96 points
By 10:00am Doha time, trading volume reached 1.33 million shares exchanged at QAR 33.26 million.
The banking sector declined 0.50% as Qatar Oman Investment shrank 2.17% and QNB fell 1.39%, the telecom sector decreased 0.03% due to a 0.10% decrease in Ooredoo.
On the other hand, the real estate sector grew 0.61%, backed by an increase of 1% in Ezdan.
The industrial sector advanced 0.05% as Qatar Industrial Manufacturing rose 2.3%.
Out of 41 companies, 25 stocks opened in green topped by Qatar General Insurance, up 8.14%, while 13 others declined and the four remaining were flat.
Vodafone Qatar, down 0.10%, made the biggest trading volume activity with 300,000 shares, whereas Dlala Holding, up 1.4%, made the highest turnover of QAR 6.3 million.
