QSE propped up early by all sectors

Doha-Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark is holding on to its two-day rally on Wednesday’s early trades, echoing gains collected from all sectors led by telecom and real estate.

By 10 a.m. Qatar time, the price index edged 1.02% up to pocket 100 points and settle at 9,889.87 points.

QE All Share index went up 0.99% to stand at 2,637 points. QE Al Rayan climbed 1.43% to 3,632 points.

Meanwhile, 868,700 shares changed hands through 605 transactions estimated at QAR 530.1 million.

Sectorally, telecom was the outperformer after growing 1.65% at morning. Real estate was the second big riser as it gained 1.52%, followed by all sectors.  

The best performing stock was Qatar Oman Investment Company as it rose 4.64% while Islamic Holding settled 3.07% down to become the worst faller.

On Tuesday, the QSE’s main index kept its position in green for the second session, ending 0.48% or 47.02 points up to the level of 9,789.80 points.
