Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) increase at Wednesday’s close by 0.12% or 11.53 points to the level of 9,989.29 points.
Trading volume decreased to 6.41 million shares from 7.72 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, while turnover increased to QAR 197.41 million from QAR 191.58 million.
The transportation sector grew 0.62% as Gulf Warehousing rose 5.2%, the telecom sector ascended 0.36% as Ooredoo leapt 0.53%.
The real estate sector advanced 0.24%, backed by an increase of 2.11% in United Development and Mazaya Qatar and 0.13% in Ezdan Holding.
The banking sector levelled up 0.22% as Masraf Al Rayan rose 0.7%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector fell alone by 0.09% due to a decrease of 1.4% in Qatari Investors and 0.65% in Industries Qatar.
Vodafone Qatar was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 1.15 million shares, while Qatar Insurance made the highest turnover of QAR 40.32 million.
