Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) leapt in Monday’s mid trading by 0.15% or 14.32 points to the level of 9,886.05 points.
Trading volume reached 838,000 shares exchanged by 10:00am Doha time through 814 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 25.7 million.
Industries Qatar grew 1%, QNB increased 0.59% and Qatar Electricity and Water advanced 0.44%.
The telecom sector declined 1.25% due to a 1.3% fall in Ooredoo, the transportation sector shrank 0.12% as Nakilat slid 0.18%.
The real estate sector dropped 0.08% as Ezdan fell 0.19%.
On the other hand, the industrial and banking sectors rose by 0.5% and 0.39% respectively.
