Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closes Sunday’s trading with an increase of 0.17% or 18.39 points to the level of 10,959.82 points.
Trading volume rose to 12.64 million shares from 7.32 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also increased to QAR 310.2 million from QAR 285.83 million.
The banking sector advanced 1.11% as QNB leapt 2.38%, the transportation sector grew 0.13% due to a 0.54% rise in Milaha.
On the other hand, the real estate sector dropped 0.67%, dragged by a 1.68% fall in Ezdan Holding.
Mazaya Qatar topped gainers with a growth of 3.7%, while Qatar General Insurance, down 3.65%, was the worst performing stock.
Mazaya Qatar led the trading activity with a volume of 3.55 million shares exchanged at QAR 53.13 million.
