Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose in Tuesday’s mid trading by 0.24% or 24.8 points to the level of 10,334.72 points.
The rise was due to the increase in most of blue chips as Ezdan rose 0.36%, Industries Qatar grew 0.95%, and Masraf Al Rayan increased 0.72%.
Trading volume reached 1.6 million shares exchanged at QAR 59.64 million through 880 transactions.
The real estate sector was the best performer after rising by 0.4%, and the consumer goods sector leapt 0.34% as Medicare Group led gainers by adding 2.59%.
The industrial, telecom and transportation sectors rose 0.34%, 0.28% and 0.7% respectively, while the banking sector declined alone by 0.05% as Al khaliji Bank topped the red list with a fall of 4.47%.
