Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose in Thursday’s mid trading by 0.27% or 27.93 points to the level of 10,390.62 points.
By 11:05am Doha time, 4.82 million shares were exchanged at QAR 97.4 million through 1,332 transactions.
The consumer goods and services sector was the worst performer after falling by 0.92%, due to a 5.6% in Medicare Group.
The real estate sector also declined by 0.44% as Mazaya Qatar shrank 1.9%, the telecom sector dropped 0.28% as Ooredoo slid 0.41%.
On the flipside, the banking sector rose alone by 1.37%, backed by a rise of 1.82% in Islamic Holding and 0.56% in QNB.
Qatari Investors Group was the best performing stock after adding 7.42% to QAR 60.8, while Qatar Cinema led decliners with a 9.5% fall.
